EDITORIAL PRINCIPLES

  1. The source of a story is stated in the text; information with an unclear source is not published.
  2. The headline does not go beyond the story; a claim absent from the text is never moved into the headline.
  3. Wherever a number is given, its source is written down.
  4. When a correction is requested the text is updated and the update date stays visible.
